Launch of the third edition of the Ramadanesque Nights of the Souk Laghzal

In the historic Souk Laghzal square in the old medina of Salé, the 3rd edition of the Ramadanesque Nights of the Souk Laghzal, organised jointly by the municipality of Salé and the Salé Foundation for Culture and the Arts, was launched on Tuesday evening, 18 March 2025, to celebrate the city’s cultural and artistic heritage.

The event is a distinctive stop-off to celebrate the city’s cultural and spiritual heritage, with evenings combining Madih and Samaâ, Aïssaoua and Gnaoua performances, Andalusian music, and the art of melhoun, where the gentle sounds and authentic rhythms converge to add a touch of history and charm to the place.

The Nights kicked off with a special evening devoted to comedy, during which a group of young comedians entertained the public with humorous performances that were enthusiastically received by the audience, in an atmosphere full of joy and elation.
