In accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law on Municipalities, the Salé Municipal Council will meet in extraordinary session, to be held in a single meeting on Thursday 31 October 2024, starting at 3pm in the large municipal hall located in Bab Bouhaja.
On Thursday 17 October 2024, the Network of Second Chance Schools Associations organised a national conference in Rabat under the theme ‘L’insertion des jeunes déscolarisés: une affaire de tous’.
The seminar focused on discussion and collective reflection on strategies for better coordination of partnership efforts between all the institutional and economic players involved in integrating young people who have dropped out of school, while taking account of specific local features and the needs of the labour market, as well as mobilising the resources needed to achieve the network’s objectives.

As part of the project to reuse treated wastewater in the city of Salé, Ms Khadija Bouabid, Vice-Chairwoman of the Salé Local Council and delegate for the public lighting sector, chaired a meeting on Wednesday 09 October 2024 at the local authority’s headquarters, attended by a number of elected representatives, a representative of the company Rédal and staff from the local authority’s technical services and its five districts.
The meeting began with a presentation of the agreement relating to the recovery of treated wastewater in the city of Salé, and its agenda included the following points:
– How the agreement will be implemented;
– The operating system for the treated water network ;
– The terms and conditions for billing and paying the fees for the use of treated water by the various beneficiaries.
As part of a courtesy visit, Mr Omar Sentissi, President of the Council of the Commune of Salé, received, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Commune’s headquarters, the Ambassador of the State of Spain to Morocco, Mr. Enrique Ojeda Vila.
During this reception, the two parties underlined the depth of the distinguished historical relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Spain, emphasized the importance of strengthening decentralized cooperation in areas of common interest between the cities of the two countries, and discussed the possibilities for joint action between the Commune of Salé and the Spanish territorial authorities.
