Congratulation on the anniversary of the recovery of the province of Oued Eddahab

On the occasion of the forty-fifth anniversary of the recovery of the province of Oued Eddahab, Mr. Omar Sentissi, president of the municipal council of Salé, has the great honor to express on his own behalf and that of the members of the council, the officials of the commune and the cityzens of Salé, his warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, imploring the Almighty to protect His Majesty and to maintain him as guarantor of the security, unity and stability of the country, and that this precious commemoration be renewed for His Majesty, for  the royal family and for the Moroccan people with more good, prosperity and progress.

The President of the Commune of Salé visits the site dedicated to the 2024 summer season

Within the framework  of  the 2024 summer programme, organised under the slogan ‘Enjoy your summer at Salé beach’, Mr Omar Sentissi, President of the Commune of Salé, paid an inspection visit on Thursday 18 July 2024 to the site that has been allocated for various sporting and recreational activities at Salé beach, where he moved between the play areas and workshops and listened to a few explanations and clarifications on several activities and artistic performances that will be organised during this year’s summer season.

During the visit, the President was accompanied by Mr Mohamed Nejjar, Vice-President of the Local Council and Chairman of the functional committee responsible for organising the Salé beach summer programme, Mrs Latifa Mhamdi Alaoui and Mrs Nora Rasba, Vice-Presidents of the Council, Messrs. Mohamed Zelzouli, Idriss El Othmani and Adnane El Idrissi, Vice-Chairmen of the Council, Mrs Fatima Bencheikh, Secretary to the Council, representatives of the Salé Foundation for Culture and the Arts and of the Mecomar and Redal companies, the Acting Director General of Services and municipal executives responsible for implementing the 2024 summer programme.

Meeting of the preparatory committee for the 2024 summer season

The preparatory committee for the 2024 summer season in the beach of Salé held, Friday, July 5, 2024, at the headquarters of the municipality, a meeting chaired by Mr. Mohamed Nejjar, Vice-President of the Municipal Council of Salé in charge of cultural affairs and chairman of the said committee, in the presence of Ms. Latifa Mhamdi Alaoui and Nora Rasba, Vice-Presidents of the Council, Ms. Fatima Bencheikh, Secretary of the Council, representatives of the Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, and those of the companies Mecomar and Redal, as well as some officers of the communal services concerned.

The meeting was an opportunity to review the various preparations to ensure that the summer season programme is implemented under the best possible conditions, particularly with regard to logistical, recreational, educational and sporting requirements, as well as raising awareness so that summer visitors can enjoy a pleasant and fruitful holiday during this programme, which runs from 10 July to 25 August 2024.

Condolences on the death of HRH Princess Lalla Latifa, mother of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Latifa, wife of the late His Majesty King Hassan II, may God rest his soul, and mother of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and Their Royal Highnesses the Princes and Princesses, passed away this Saturday 22 Dou Al Hijja 1445 H corresponding to 29 June 2024.

Following this painful loss, and with hearts that believe in God’s will and destiny, M. Omar Sentissi, President of the Council of the Commune of Salé, on his own behalf, on behalf of the members of the Council, the staff of the Commune and the citizens of Salé, presents his sincere condolences to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, may God grant Him long life, and to His Royal Highnesses, Princes and Princesses, and to all the members of the illustrious Royal Family, praying to the Almighty to surround the deceased with His infinite mercy, divine compassion and to welcome her into His vast paradise, to protect His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God preserve Him and perpetuate His glory.

MESSAGE OF GOOD WISHES ON THE OCCASION OF THE ADVENT OF AÏD AL ADHA

On the occasion of Aïd Al Adha 1445 of the Hegira, the President of the Commune of Salé, M. Omar Sentissi, has the distinguished honour of expressing, on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Communal Council and all the civil servants of the Commune, his best wishes to Amir Al Mouminine, HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and imploring the Most High to preserve the Sovereign’s health, perpetuate upon him the blessings of health, grant him long life and fill him with joy in the persons of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Princess Lalla Khadija, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and all the members of the illustrious Royal Family.

He also took the opportunity of this blessed celebration to extend his best wishes for further progress, prosperity and security to the citizens of the city of Salé and to the Moroccan people as a whole.

AS Salé basketball team wins the Throne Cup for the 2023-2024 season

Following its victory over the Maghreb team from Fez in the final match held at the Ibn Yassine hall in Rabat on Saturday 8 June 2024, the Association Sportive of Salé team has won the Throne Cup for basketball – men’s category – for the 2023-2024 sports season.

On this happy occasion, Mr Omar Sentissi, President of Salé Municipal Council, on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Council and the civil servants of the municipality, sends his warmest congratulations to all the members of the Salé team, in particular the players, the administrative and technical staff, as well as the supporters and fans of the team, with his best wishes for more titles in its sporting career.
