Organization of a Ceremony by the Association of Social Works of the Employees of the Municipality of Salé on the Occasion of the 27th Anniversary of the Throne Day

As part of the celebrations commemorating the 27th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and glorify Him, to the Throne of His Glorious Ancestors, the Association of Social Works of the Employees of the Municipality of Salé organized, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, starting at 3:00 p.m., in the Municipality’s Grand Hall, a festive ceremony attended by Mr. the Secretary-General of the Prefecture of Salé, Mr. the President of the Municipality of Salé, Mr. the President of the Prefectural Council of Salé, Mr. the Vice-President of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Regional Council, the Presidents of the District Councils, members of the Municipal Council, as well as several officials, executives, employees and their families, in addition to civil society representatives and local personalities.

This gathering provided an opportunity to highlight the development achievements accomplished and the major reforms undertaken under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God perpetuate His glory and grant Him victory, as well as to renew feelings of loyalty and devotion to the Glorious Alaouite Throne, reflecting the depth of the bond between the Moroccan people and their Sovereign.

The ceremony began with the performance of the national anthem. On this occasion, Mr. Omar Sentissi, President of the Municipality of Salé, delivered a speech in which he expressed his great joy and pride in actively participating in the celebration of the 27th anniversary of Throne Day, while extending his thanks to the Association of Social Works of the Employees of the Municipality of Salé for organizing this ceremony.

The President also emphasized that this national celebration holds particular significance as an opportunity to renew the bonds of loyalty and allegiance uniting the Moroccan people with the Glorious Alaouite Throne, while highlighting the achievements of major development projects carried out under the High Royal Solicitude. He added that this occasion also represents an opportunity to renew commitment to serving the Nation, strengthen the momentum of reform, social justice and comprehensive development, and contribute to consolidating the unity and progress of the Kingdom.

At the end of his speech, the President extended his warmest congratulations and his most sincere expressions of loyalty and devotion to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God support Him with His assistance and benevolence, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Municipality Council of Salé, the District Councils and the inhabitants of the city. He prayed to the Almighty to preserve His Majesty the King, grant Him continued health and well-being, bless Him through the presence of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, support Him through His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, and preserve all members of the Illustrious Royal Family.

For his part, in a similar address, Mr. Saïd Bida, President of the Association of Social Works of the Employees of the Municipality of Salé, highlighted the excellence and remarkable development momentum that have characterized the twenty-seven years of the reign of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect and preserve Him. He stressed that this enlightened Royal vision has placed the human element at the heart of public policies and established a Moroccan model based on gradual reform and modernity, while remaining firmly rooted in the nation’s fundamental values.

He further explained that this forward-looking vision has materialized through several major strategic Royal projects, notably the strengthening of the social state, the consolidation of water and energy sovereignty, the development of industrial and investment sectors, as well as the upgrading of sports infrastructure. He also highlighted the significant diplomatic achievements made in defending the Kingdom’s territorial integrity, thereby strengthening Morocco’s position at the regional and international levels.

The various segments of the event featured the reading of a message of loyalty and allegiance addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, on behalf of the Association of Social Works of the Employees of the Municipality of Salé, by its President.

Furthermore, this festive program included various musical performances, as well as a tribute paid to Mr. Mustapha Ajdi, a native of the city of Salé and winner of the Mohammed VI Prize for Moroccan Calligraphy Art – Excellence Category for the year 2025. He was honored to be received by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God preserve Him and guide His steps, in recognition of his contributions to safeguarding Moroccan calligraphic heritage. This distinction represents an exceptional achievement, as he is the first artist with a disability to win this prize, embodying the values of creativity, perseverance and overcoming challenges.

The ceremony also provided an opportunity to honor the professional careers and contributions of several retired employees, in recognition of their efforts and valuable services rendered to the public sector.

Faithful to a tradition it has maintained, the Association organized a draw to enable its members to perform the Umrah pilgrimage. This initiative benefited two retired employees, six male members and six female members, in addition to two additional gifts offered at the initiative of the President of the Municipality of Salé and Mrs. Karima Gamal, Vice-President of the Laâyayda District Council.

The event concluded in a festive atmosphere filled with pride and deep attachment to this cherished national celebration, founded on unwavering commitment to the constants of the Moroccan Nation and on the continuous determination to contribute to serving the public interest, in accordance with the enlightened and forward-looking vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect Him and preserve Him as a source of pride and support for the Nation and its people.
