Opening of the 1st edition Tournament in Memory of Deceased Mohamed Akki

On Monday, June 5, 2017, in the afternoon, the tournament dedicated to the late Mohamed Akki was held in the Hay Salam indoor hall in its first edition. This sporting event is organized by the Association of Social Officials of the Commune of Salé, with the participation of 8 teams representing the commune of Salé and its boroughs, as well as the team of the association organizing this tournament.

It should be noted that this championship is organized in tribute to our late brother known for his courtesy, gentleness and dedication throughout his professional career at the commune.

In this sacred month of Ramadan, we implore The Almighty to amply reward the deceased, to accept him among his virtuous servants, to spread His Mercy and Blessing upon him and to welcome him into his vast paradise. God the Hearer answers the prayers of those who implore him.

Meeting of the steering committee of the Thursday of Concertation

The steering committee of the “Thursday of Concertation” of Salé held a meeting on Friday 26 May 2017 chaired by Mr. Jamaâ El Moâtassim, Communal President of Salé, and attended the presidents of the boroughs Bab Lamrissa and Tabriquet, some members of the municipal council office, the vice-presidents of the borough councils, representatives of a group of associations, as well as certain officials and civil servants of the commune.

The meeting was devoted to discussing and evaluating the regulatory procedures that marked the monthly consultation meetings organized as part of the “Concertation Thursday”, in particular those of March, April and May 2017. The committee also discussed the recommendations and suggestions from the previous monthly meetings and unveiled the topic of education as the theme for the fourth “Thursday of Concertation”, scheduled for Thursday, 6 July at 16:00 in the main communal hall at Bab Bouhaja.

The borough council Bab Lamrissa organizes a ceremony of signing the charter of its consultation committee

The borough council Bab Lamrissa and its committee of concertation organized, Friday, May 26, 2017 at the great room located in Bab Bouhaja, a ceremony signing of the charter of its consultative committee;  which took place in the presence of the communal president of Salé, the presidents of the borough councils of Bab Lamrissa, Tabriquet and Bettana, a number of local elected representatives and representatives of associations in the borough.

This signing of the charter of the consultation committee of the borough Bab Lamrissa crowns the efforts made by the preparatory committee to institutionalize the consultation mechanisms in the borough; in order to implement the constitutional provisions concerning the creation of participatory mechanisms for dialogue and consultation by local and regional authorities to promote the involvement and participation of citizens and associations in the process of preparation and follow-up Development programs, and the implementation of the related provisions in the Organic Law on Municipalities, in particular article 119 thereof.

The president of the commune of Salé receives a group of students and professors from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC)

A group of students and professors from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) paid a visit to the headquarters of the commune of Salé on Wednesday 24 May 2017 and met with the president of the commune of Salé, Mr. Jammaâ El Moâtassim, on various subjects related to the urban development of the city.

After welcoming the students and their teachers, the president of the commune highlighted the historical and heritage aspect of the city of Salé, its administrative subdivision into five districts and the efforts made by the municipal council to improve cleanliness and urban transport, in addition to investments in basic infrastructure. Similarly, in a second chapter, the president spoke of improving the relationship between the municipal administration and the citizen on the one hand, and investors on the other, in order to make it more digital, simple and transparent ( Smart city), thus creating jobs.

In addition, the president of the commune of Salé highlighted the coordination relations between the commune and the urban agency, Technopolis and the ministerial departments. This cooperation involves the setting up of large-scale tourism projects (5-star hotels), the creation of a free zone for the reduction of unemployment and the enhancement of the cultural aspect of the city through projects construction of cultural centers and libraries.

Subsequently, the students were given the opportunity to raise questions about the historical, economic and tourist potential of the city of Salé.

At the end of the meeting, symbolic presents were presented to the representatives of the professors and students.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdellatif Soudou, Vice-President for Works and Urban Development, Mr. Abderraouf Bentaleb, Director General of Services, and Mr. Lhoussine Assad, Director of the Cabinet Of the communal president.

Organization of a medical campaign for the benefit of officials of the commune of Salé

Within the framework of the agreement concluded between the commune of Salé and the Association of Social Works of municipal officials, a medical campaign was organized, on 18 and 19 May 2017 at the headquarters of the Association, for the benefit of the staff of the commune; and this, in various medical specialties including general medicine, dentistry, cardiovascular medicine, ophthalmology and other specialties.
