The president of the commune of Salé receives a group of students and professors from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC)
A group of students and professors from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) paid a visit to the headquarters of the commune of Salé on Wednesday 24 May 2017 and met with the president of the commune of Salé, Mr. Jammaâ El Moâtassim, on various subjects related to the urban development of the city.
After welcoming the students and their teachers, the president of the commune highlighted the historical and heritage aspect of the city of Salé, its administrative subdivision into five districts and the efforts made by the municipal council to improve cleanliness and urban transport, in addition to investments in basic infrastructure. Similarly, in a second chapter, the president spoke of improving the relationship between the municipal administration and the citizen on the one hand, and investors on the other, in order to make it more digital, simple and transparent ( Smart city), thus creating jobs.
In addition, the president of the commune of Salé highlighted the coordination relations between the commune and the urban agency, Technopolis and the ministerial departments. This cooperation involves the setting up of large-scale tourism projects (5-star hotels), the creation of a free zone for the reduction of unemployment and the enhancement of the cultural aspect of the city through projects construction of cultural centers and libraries.
Subsequently, the students were given the opportunity to raise questions about the historical, economic and tourist potential of the city of Salé.
At the end of the meeting, symbolic presents were presented to the representatives of the professors and students.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdellatif Soudou, Vice-President for Works and Urban Development, Mr. Abderraouf Bentaleb, Director General of Services, and Mr. Lhoussine Assad, Director of the Cabinet Of the communal president.
