Clarification statement regarding the article published by Ms. Amina Ouchaib on the Literacy Cooperative “Al-Wifaq”

As part of the consolidation of the values of transparency and accountability and the connection of citizens to the reality of what is happening in the management of public affairs, and for the concern of the municipality of Salé to enlighten local public opinion on a certain number of data contained in an article published by Mrs. Amina Ouchaib, member of the Communal Council of Salé, entitled «Salé council and the scandal of the Al-Wifaq literacy cooperative for the unemployed».

Salé Local Council holds an extraordinary session on 6 August 2025

The municipal council of Salé held, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 3 p.m., in the large meeting room at the municipal headquarters located in Bab Bouhaja, an extraordinary session during a single meeting, presided over by Mr. Omar Sentissi, president of the council, in the presence of council members, representatives of the local authority, civil servants  from the municipal administration, and a group of citizens.

The session was opened with a welcoming speech by the president;  then, the agenda for the session was read by Mr. Mohammed Toufik Ben Omar, who was appointed as the secretary of the meeting.

The Association for Social Works of Civil Servants of the Municipality of Salé is organising an award ceremony for retirees on the occasion of the Glorious Throne Day

On the occasion of the Throne Day, the Association for Social Works of Civil Servants of the Municipality of Salé, in partnership with the municipality, organised an award ceremony on Wednesday 30 July 2025 for retired civil servants, in recognition and tribute to their loyal service throughout their careers.

The ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Prefecture of Salé, the President of the municipality of Salé, the President of the Prefectural Council, the Vice-President of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Regional Council, as well as several councillors and members of the municipal and district councils, and civil servants.

In a speech delivered on this joyous occasion, Mr. Omar Sentissi, the President of the municipality of Salé, stated that the celebration of the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, to the Throne of his glorious Ancestors, is a precious national occasion through which we recall the tremendous achievements accomplished under the wise leadership of the Sovereign and the substantial developments our country has experienced in various fields. He also expressed his renewed feelings of pride and satisfaction on this occasion, reaffirming his loyalty and fidelity to the glorious Alaouite Throne.

In conclusion, Mr Sentissi implored the Almighty to preserve His Majesty the King, to grant him lasting health and well-being, and to renew this national commemoration for His Majesty and for the Moroccan people in peace and with greater progress and prosperity.

During the ceremony, a message of loyalty and allegiance was read by the President of the Association of Social Works of Civil Servants of the Municipality of Salé to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him.

The ceremony also featured artistic performances, including musical interludes, as well as a lottery to select the beneficiaries of the Umrah rituals for the association’s members, and the presentation of incentive awards to the children of civil servants who achieved excellent results in the 2025 baccalaureate, in order to encourage them to continue their efforts and strive for excellence.

Organisation of the National Days of “N’zaha du Melhoun” in Salé

The Driss Ben Mamoun Association for the Creation and Research in the Art of Melhoun in Salé, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication and the Municipality of Salé, and in collaboration with the Salé Prefecture, organised from June 12 to 15, 2025, the 11th edition of the National Days of “N’zaha du Melhoun” in memory of the late Abderrahmane Krombi, a prominent figure in cultural and associative life.

This edition, organised under the theme “Honouring Melhoun Artists .. Fidelity – Development – Sustainability,” was distinguished by the diversity of its program, which included an intellectual conference on the topic “Melhoun in the Era of Globalisation between Preservation and Renewal,” as well as the presentation of two literary works in the field of Melhoun art: the book “The Lamentations in Melhoun Poetry” by the author Saïd Benfrhi, and the book “Sidi Kaddour El Alami, Poet of Meknès-Zaytouna” by Professor Abderrahmane El Melhouni.

The festival also organised artistic evenings celebrating the heritage of Melhoun, with tributes paid to personalities who have contributed to the service of this ancestral art, and concluded with a boat ride on traditional boats on the Bouregreg River.

MESSAGE OF WISHES ON THE OCCASION OF EID AL-ADHA

On the occasion of the advent of Eid Al-Adha for the year 1446 AH, the President of the Commune of Salé, M. Omar Sentissi, has the distinguished honour of expressing, on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Commune Council and all the Commune’s civil servants, his best wishes and feelings of fidelity and loyalty to HM King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine and defender of religion, imploring the Almighty to renew such an occasion for the Sovereign in health and happiness and to fill him in the persons of HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Princess Lalla Khadija, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and all the members of the Royal Family.

He also took the opportunity to extend his best wishes for progress, prosperity and security to the people of Salé and to the Moroccan people as a whole.
