Launch of the 4th Edition of the “Ramadan Nights 2026” Festival
The fourth edition of the “Ramadan Nights” festival kicked off on the evening of Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the main hall of the Municipality of Salé in Bab Bouhaja. The event is organized by the Municipality of Salé in partnership with the Salé Foundation for Culture and Arts, and runs over two days.
The opening evening featured performances of traditional malhoun poetry as well as Andalusian classical music (tarab al-ala), masterfully presented by the Belmamoun Malhoun troupe and the Arij Al Wissal Andalusian music ensemble.
On this occasion, the President of the Municipality of Salé, Mr. Omar Sentissi, stated that this initiative is part of the municipality’s annual cultural program, noting that this edition includes the participation of renowned artistic groups and aims to preserve Morocco’s authentic musical heritage.
For his part, Mr. Mohamed Lotfi Mrini, President of the Salé Foundation for Culture and Arts, emphasized that this event represents a significant cultural and spiritual occasion, through which the foundation seeks to offer a distinctive artistic experience. He also highlighted the importance of sustaining this annual event to enhance cultural dynamism and strengthen the cultural influence of the city of Salé.


Mr. Omar Sentissi attends a collective Iftar in the Bab Lamrissa district on the occasion of International Women’s Day
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, observed every March 8th, the Bab Lamrissa district organized a collective Iftar in honor of its female employees. The event took place in the presence of Mr. Omar Sentissi, President of the Commune of Salé, Mr. Abdelkader El Kihel, President of the Bab Lamrissa district, as well as several members of the commune, the district, and civil servants.
This festive evening was organized as a mark of recognition and gratitude for the considerable efforts made by female staff in the service of local public affairs, as well as their effective and responsible commitment within the various administrative departments.
The ceremony featured the presentation of symbolic gifts and a lucky draw for three civil servants to perform the Umrah. It was also an opportunity to pay tribute to several staff members retiring after years of dedication and selflessness in the performance of their duties.
